Welcome

You will find our camp site*** in an upland area whose countryside lends itself to outdoor activities and family holidays with young children in a peaceful context at Mazet-St-Voy between Le Puy-en-Velay and Saint Etienne. The village is at 1000m altitude in the middle of the Haut-Lignon plateau with its exceptional nature (Mont Mézenc, the Pic du Lizieux, the Meygal and also its rivers and lakes). It also has a rich cultural past, (churches, fortified farms, memorial sites, and many traces of a protestant heritage which is unique in France). The camp-site which welcomes you is set in a 2 hectare park, one kilometer from the center of the village with its shops. It is equipped with furnished chalets and pitches for tents, caravans and camping-cars, with a service area for the latter. Furthermore, there is free Wi-fi, an area for petanque, a tennis court and a children’s play area. An ideal  site to take a break as a family, with friends, as a couple or solo, and to make the most of the premium touristic area with its unspoilt nature and rich and authentic local culture. Come along to breath and come alive!

« A very agreeable time had in this quiet camp-site, with a very friendly atmosphere, as many campers regularly holiday here. The manager is considerate, the facilities are recent and clean. All that for a very reasonable rate : What more could you ask for ? »

« It is a very good camp-site for those looking for tranquility. A good welcome : advice about where to pitch to get the best of the sun, information about local walks (even lending us a book of walks). For the children there is a good play area. There is also a brand new tennis court and they lent us rackets and balls. You can use the board games in the lounge. The toilets are all new and clean, there is a compost for vegetable waste… and all that for an unbeatable price. The camp-site is well placed for walking up the Pic du Lizieux from where you get a 360° panorama.”

« A friendly family camp-site ! 5 comfortable, modern, spacious and well-lit chalets ! Each with a private terrace which is sheltered and has flowers in season ! I recommend this place ! »

« A super camp-site for taking a break, in a nice village in the midst of untouched nature. The manager of the camp-site is also really friendly, and equally an excellent cook. He is from the area and cooked us several delicious auvergne and regional recipes, It is also an ideal place for biking and walking in the forest, with old volcanoes and fresh air. »

” Bravo for thinking about the needs of disabled people. I recommend ++++ this camp-site for the layout of the chalet. It is so rare to find suitable places to rent. And a big thankyou for the welcome. ”
